Question:
Penfriend reports that the installation is damaged, or repeatedly asks to be activated, on Windows Vista. Why?

Affecting products:
All Penfriend products up to version 3.1.0.2 on Windows Vista.

Problem:

If you have already installed Penfriend On Windows Vista it may say that it is damaged, or it may repeatedly ask you to activate it.

Solution:
Go to the Windows Vista security control panel, and switch off User Access Control (UAC). Then log in as an administrator user, uninstall Penfriend and reinstall it with version 3.1.0.6 or later.
