Does Penfriend work with my Windows Operating System?

Affecting products:

Penfriend W3, Penfriend XP,Penfriend XL, Penfriend XLFR. For Penfriend FR, SE, DE, and IT see Penfriend XP. Please contact Penfriend Ltd for information about other products if they are advertised on this web site, but not listed here.

Problem:

I have Microsoft Windows but I don't know which version of Penfriend will work with it.

Solution:

The compatible versions are:

Operating System Compatible Penfriend products

MS Windows 3.1 Penfriend W3

MS Windows 95 Penfriend W3

MS Windows 98 Penfriend XP 3.1.0.2 or earlier, Penfriend W3

MS Windows Me Penfriend XP 3.1.0.2 or earlier, Penfriend W3

MS Windows NT 4 Penfriend XL and XP and other language variants

MS Windows 2000 Penfriend XL and XP and other language variants

MS Windows XP Penfriend XL and XP and other language variants

MS Windows Vista Penfriend XL and XP and other language variants, version 3.1.0.5 and later **.

** Penfriend XP version 2 and version 3 up to 3.1.0.2 will install on Windows Vista but ensure that UAC is off and install as administrator.
